Oracle for the 9 October 2022

Oracle for the 9 October 2022

43 - Four Three (Octal)

43 I
INCREASE

In this hexagram, the rousing thunder is  below the gentle wind, signifying a time  when everything is in full bloom, and the sun is shining down benevolently on life. As the original text says, "It furthers one to undertake something; it furthers one to cross the great water." The message is simple: if you have any major plans, now is the time to set them in motion, since the auspices are at their best for new enterprises. There is, however, a caveat in the text which makes it clear that any major new undertaking will have the best chance of success if its aim and your motives are, at least in part, unselfish. This is also true in terms of your personal life; you need to take a good look at how the scales of give and take are balanced. Make any adjustments that are necessary, lending more weight to the giving side, and your personal  relationships will flourish.

LINE OF CHANGE

NINE at the BOTTOM
Any project you embark on now, no matter how large, will succeed, as you are blessed with great good fortune. Remember that the more unselfish your goal, the more successful you will be.

SIX in the SECOND PLACE
As your motives are essentially for the best, there is no obstacle which can stand in the way of your success. This success will only be available to you when your approach is both correct and altruistic.

SIX in the THIRD PLACE
Someone else's bad luck becomes your good luck. It is not your fault, and there is no blame attached, particularly if you are honest and generous about it.

SIX in the FOURTH PLACE
You are now in a position of great trust and influence, which brings its own responsibilities. Use these powers wisely, and your sphere of influence will increase.

NINE in the FIFTH PLACE
You do something out of the kindness of your heart and for no other reason. This has very positive results. These may not be immediately discernible, but will certainly appear in time.

NINE at the TOP
This line suggests that your motives may not have been as selfless as you made them out to be. You should reflect on this before the situation gets any worse.
