Our Future.

Our Future.

Introduction

This one card spread should be used to focus on the way ahead. It will reveal the forthcoming events and influences for our future.

Reading done on the 1st July 2021.

Knight of Coins (Reversed)

Upright: Practical, sensuous, patient, methodical, progress. Sensible course, dependability, industriousness, hard work, conviction. Beneficial science, finding meaning, nature.

Reversed: Confusion, missing vision, instability, greed, indolence. Apathy, material preoccupation, inactivity, tiredness, necessary inner turning.

One Card:

Focus on the card and try to let yourself become part of it. Look closely and try to imagine you are there inside the picture. Look at every detail and make a story out of all you see. This card will reveal any questions you want answered.

Personal Notes

All this instability around at the moment is starting to make everyone unsure of the future. There seems to be no good news coming from anyone or anywhere.

Conclusion

A very negative time is surrounding us all and nobody seems to have any positive answers. The people in power are all grabbing at straws, broken ones. Everybody seems to be making very bold statements but in reality they are just hiding behind words.

I was hoping for someone with an ounce of intelligence to come forward and show themselves but there is nobody. We have run out of leaders, a person with strength and integrity who can show us the way. Instead, everyone is just covering their own backsides in case they get severely kicked. The future is looking very bleak and this Knight has no answers, just questions.

It's time for someone to step forward and show themselves, a person for the people.

The splinters in the finger of society.

It's 2020, the year of the Covid-19 pandemic. So how has this changed the attitudes of our society? Not very much, is the answer. People are still selfish, materialistic, greedy, disrespectful and down right undeserving of any praise or merit. Disillusionment has set in leaving the needy and vulnerable without any hope of a brighter future. Is there no end to depravity or can society change for the better, we have walked a very long road to get here, to a place where life is not worth living and any prospects are just too low for many of us.

How did we get here and why have we left so many behind? It's time to look in the mirror and ask ourselves who we really are. I am no saint and neither are many others out there, so what do you see when you look into a mirror, are you one of the splinters in the finger of society?

WHAT IS THE NEW NORMAL?

WHAT IS THE NEW NORMAL

How do we change the way we live after COVID-19?

I am writing this in the hope that we all consider how much change is needed to the way we live our lives, now and in the future. Social attitudes have to change towards many of the so-called normal ways of living. If we just carry on living with the same attitudes and lifestyles of the past then nothing changes and none of us have learned anything from this devastating virus that has attacked us. This has been a message to all of us to stop and take a good look at ourselves and what we have managed to accomplish as a devastating monster on planet earth. If we are the only intelligent life forms in the whole universe then what are we here for? We have to be better than this, we just can’t go on ignoring what we are doing to the planet as a whole and that includes the way we treat each other. There is no respect for our fellow human beings. This pandemic has highlighted to the world just who and what we really are, monsters!

This is not about blame, it’s about putting things right that have gone wrong, showing respect to others, being moral and descent to life as a whole, which includes flora and fauna. We now have the biggest chance to change our future for the better. I hope the history books can write about this period of time and say, “We changed and the world changed with us, for the better, for all and for our future”.

So what do we have to do now and once we take control of this virus? Well the main strategy is to start thinking of ways to improve life for everyone and not just the few. Our whole lifestyles have to change, readapt to a new way of living our lives, from the way we move around the planet to living, eating, working and socialising. Like the words of the Bob Dylan song say, “The times, they are a changin”. Yes, they truly are and we must change with them.

The way we come out of Lockdown is crucial too. There is no more NORMAL, only the future which can no longer be described as normal. Normal, new, old, good or bad, there is no such thing anymore, there is only one thing we can look forward to now and that is our future. So what do we need to understand about our future and how we become better humans, together. We have already shown how it’s possible to all come together and cooperate instead of fighting against each other. This is just the first step to securing a more positive and sustained future. People with vision now need to step up and show us all how to become different people.

Massive changes have to be made in many areas of how we now live our lives, governments, organitions, buildings and much, much more will have to change overnight to accommodate where and how we live. Everything and everyone has to change the way we think and act towards the way we take the first steps into our new world structure.
Governments will have to be more responsible and transparent in the way they govern and treat everyone. This new era will be greater than any revolution we created in the past. If we don’t start making the changes now, we never will and both the human race and planet Earth will cease to exist, as we know it.
This is the time to transform and evolve into a far better society and leave the old behind without forgetting it forever. Lessons must be learned and mistakes rectified. This is our chance to become a far better civilisation all across the globe.

NOBODY IS LISTENING ANYMORE!

Is our planet fighting back? 🌍

I wrote this in April 2011

Chaos theory is a field of study in applied mathematics, with applications in several disciplines including physics, economics, biology, and philosophy. Chaos theory studies the behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions; an effect which is popularly referred to as the butterfly effect. Small differences in initial conditions (such as those due to rounding errors in numerical computation) yield widely diverging outcomes for chaotic systems, rendering long-term prediction impossible in general.[1] This happens even though these systems are deterministic, meaning that their future behavior is fully determined by their initial conditions, with no random elements involved.[2] In other words, the deterministic nature of these systems does not make them predictable.[3][4] This behavior is known as deterministic chaos, or simply chaos.

Chaotic behavior can be observed in many natural systems, such as the weather.

I’m not a scientist, economist, biologist, or philosopher and yet I can sense something BIG is going to happen soon to our planet and more than likely its inhabitants too. With worldwide communication becoming ever more instantaneous and with instant access to everything and anyone, we have enabled ourselves to become a global community, and yet we are unable to act like one, especially in the more developed countries.

Materialism, selfishness, and greed has superseded compassion, regard for each other, and dignity and so maybe, just maybe the planet that we all share and inhabit is starting to feel this wave of destruction heading its way and is fighting back.

It’s as if all the unrest in Africa and the Middle East have become the butterfly’s wings and the earthquakes in Japan, the tornadoes in America just might be the effects of those wings fluttering to the point of destruction of the whole planet.

I’m not a doom and gloom merchant, I’m just a realist. If what I can feel and sense from all the news reports and television coverage day in and day out, something has to give very soon.

Today in February 2020
Wild fires in the USA and Australia, the corona virus epidemic, floods in the UK, deforestation, plastic pollution, wild animals decreasing rapidly, it keeps happening over and over.
All we seem to care about is our next iPhone or Big Mac meal.
I'm ashamed to be a human being.

UPDATE - On COVID-19

An update on COVID-19 (13th March 2020)

Whenever I am thinking about a situation or problem that needs solving I generally reach for my Tarot cards and start with a quick 3 card spread to see if anything comes to light. Usually it does, if I need more clarity I will try another spread to gain more insight on the problem/situation. So seeing as the UK government seems to be slowly reacting to COVID-19 and Boris is quite happy to listen to his experts I thought I would cast a quick 3 carder to see if it would enlighten me or certainly inspire me to think about the problem in a more logical and analytical manner. So have a look at this spread below and see just how it gave me some food for thought.

Introduction

How long will Covid-19 last and what can we do to halt its progress, longterm?
3 Card (Past, Present and Future) Spread.

Five of Clubs (Reversed)
The Past: Past events or influences that have played an important part in bringing about the current
situation, perhaps including those that brought one to the need for the question in the first place.
The effect of those events or influences on the present and how best we can use them to shape and
understand the future.

Upright: Indicates an agreement. It is a neutral card by itself. It simply means agreement: contracts,
commitments, transactions, etc.
Reversed: Trickery, complexity, involvement.

Two of Spades
The Present: Where the querent finds themselves at the present time. Opportunities and obstacles
in the current situation.

Upright: Signifies change. It’s the feeling of walking in one direction then suddenly you take a step
in another direction and continue on from there. This card deals with a definite change of course in
readings. Patience.
Reversed: The waiting is over. Stalemate ended. Beware of a new situation. The seeker, or someone
known to the seeker, may travel soon.

Ace of Hearts (Reversed)
The Future: Future events and fresh influences about to come into play that will operate in the near
future. Possible outcome of the situation. One's aspirations.

Upright: Focuses on the home. Another neutral card. The other cards surrounding the Ace of
Hearts will show you the actual feelings concerning “the home”.
Reversed: False hope, clouded joy, fulfillment delayed, false heart, unfaithfulness, false love,
change, alteration, sterility.

Personal Notes
This card has a lot to do with family and ‘home’ matters. It can also indicate problems or troubles
being relieved between loved ones. This card can also speak of good news to or from a family
member or possibly a marriage. It is said that if this card falls within the first three cards of any
spread it may indicate that the Inquirer is in an emotional or sensitive state of mind.

Conclusion and Outcome
I can see the past and present situations quite clearly, what matters is the final card (3). The Ace
of Hearts is telling us that if we stay at home for longer periods then the virus has nowhere to
go and the likelihood of it spreading is reduced dramatically. In turn this will delay the spread,
reduce infection and eventually the virus will die.

The logical way to solve this situation is to deploy our Armed Forces who are professional and
well organised. The plan would be to isolate area by area, as each area is clear then move on
to the next. Control is fundamental so we could addopte the same strategy that Italy has used
by restricting movement that is non essential and issuing travelling passes for movement around
the country for those who are clear and have important and necessary work to do.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS, TEST TEST TEST.
Setup military checkpoints outside major cities and large towns to supervise control over movement,
monitoring of clear areas and infected areas is paramount. Once everyone and everywhere is
clear a strict control of movement of people entering and leaving the country is vital to safeguard
the cleanup that has been done over the control period.

If this works then the strategy could be incorporated worldwide.
I know this all sounds a bit drastic but unless somebody can effectively and efficiently control and
monitor movement then we will not stop this virus in any other way.
